Pembrokeshire County Council - where do I start?
On 01/04/2025, I phoned you to express concern that your staff had not raised any safeguarding concerns over the fact a scheme you pushed on an elderly, vulnerable lady left her without heating & hot water (unable to wash, bathe, etc) for over 2 years. I spoke to Gwen Morris on this date & Sara Moraity to express concerns over unprofessionalism and lack of duty of care.
On 01/05/2025, I was removed as a Trustee from Advocacy West Wales at the dictation on Safeguarding at Pembrokeshire County Council. The CEO of AWW made me aware that a Safeguarding Referral had gone in from “a member of the public” and I was being investigated for “abuse by person in position of trust”. At this point, I was given 2 names on whom to contact. The CEO would not discuss the issue further with me.
On 02/05/2025, I phoned up the Designated Safeguarding Officer, who I asked in "which position are they investigating?" A simple, straight forward question to find out if I’ve abused my position as a “Director”, or as a “Trustee”. You stated you “did not understand the question”, recommended to me I make a Subject Access Request for my data held by Pembrokeshire County Council stated that it was not a member of the public who raised an issue but was a member of your safeguarding team and then hung up on me once I made you aware the phone call was being recorded.
On 28/05/2025, I was emailed by the CEO of AWW. In this email, a letter from the Local Authority was attached (AFTER a meeting had been convened) making me aware I was under “investigation” and what section of the Safeguarding Act I was under investigation for (which was stated above). To date, I have still NOT received a letter from PCC to my door regarding any on-going investigations.
On 28/05/2025, I had noticed 3 weeks before I spoke to 2 safeguarding team members (Social Services for Adults) on the phone that one member of their team had actually in fact been stalking my social media pages. It came up as a “you appeared in # searches this month”, which I have screenshots of and dates. I reported this as a breach of confidentiality and breach of data protection & privacy on my half as it states in your policies and Safeguarding policies you are not to search any clients or casework individuals online without VALID, WRITTEN reason.
On 28/05/2025, I phoned up 101 to add a Task to the investigating police officer to contact me regarding the investigation as I was made aware that this is now a Police Investigation. No contact has been made.
On 04/07/2025, I made a Subject Access Request for my information & on 07/07/2025, you wrote back refusing my Data due to on-going investigations. So, why did your Safeguarding Lead advise me to request my data from you, knowing I wouldn’t be able to access it?
On 07/07/2025, I made a referral for myself to the Adult Protection Team for Organisational Abuse against myself from the Safeguarding Team, naming the 3 safeguarding officers/social workers - numerous points were raised in the referral including when the Designated Safeguarding Officer dropped in conversation the exact case, reason for investigation and who it was regarding, breaches of Data Protection & Privacy, including me naming them for Abusing their Positions of Trust & Power. This week, Pembrokeshire County Council REFUSED my referral on myself stating it “did not meet the threshold for CWMPAS Safeguarding concerns & policy.” Today (14/07/2025), I was made aware another meeting was to take place on 15/07/2025.
No letter, No email, nothing.
I was however, made aware by an employee of yours, that another meeting was going to be taking place tomorrow & that it is now cancelled for NO reasons outlined. A few hours later, I then had confirmation of this from the CEO of AWW of which this PCC Employee in Safeguarding/Adult Protection team was saying. To date, I have not received a letter (officially), I’ve not been approached by any Police Officer, any Safeguarding Member/Officer, I’ve been asked if I am okay from the CEO of AWW but not received a response from them when stating that I was actually not okay & that the local authority are in breach of their own policies of Section 5 PIPOT whereby Local Authorities or those Investigating have to write to the person being investigated if the investigation takes longer than 7 days.
Zilch. Nothing. Nada.
I’ve had no option to send client contact notes, agreements, quotations, levels of support, emails that had been sent from myself regarding that client to Pembrokeshire County Council & Dyfed-Powys Police as evidence (as a PRECAUTIONARY measure on my behalf) to ensure evidence is actually given in.
They know no abuse has occurred. What they don’t like is me holding them accountable for their actions.
I’ve done everything by the book, I have written statements, written evidence in black and white, contact and support notes including a file with signed paperwork from my client allowing me to liaise with relevant services on her behalf because YOU (DPP & PCC) IGNORED her. Now you’re using & abusing an elderly, vulnerable client of mine (who just so happened to be a FAMILY friend too) to try and get me to stop holding you accountable for Organisational & Position of Abuse.
I will continue to speak out regarding that and REALLY do hope all of this escalates to court proceedings because my evidence file is just stocking up on you lot. And, to add onto it, AWW have been a great organisation to be a trustee with - but their support through this has been minimal, knowing my past, knowing my work & knowing I do have vulnerabilities.
It’s a shame really, as there is a misuse of organisational data, breach of data and so much more… but, this is Pembrokeshire for you & everyone will continue to turn a blind eye until it is changed.
I do have more evidence and more to post but I think this is sufficient enough to see what they are like with their positions and fabrication of data. We can all see it & I will try my best to put a stop to it.
